Shiver and Linger by Maggie Stiefvater (Spoilers)

I read this book a long time ago, I remember liking Sam and Grace but never being able to relate to them for some reason. In spite of that I loved this book. Basically Sam is werewolf and Grace lives next to the forest Sam lives in. Grace was bitten by someone in Sam's pack when she was little but she never turned because her father locked her in her car on a very hot day and she got a horrible fever which they think boiled the wolf out of her. It's an interesting story, there's different mythology about these werewolves. They have nothing to do with the moon, they turn when the temperature is very low. They end up together. 5/5 stars.

I read Linger recently and I flew through the pages, it was very captivating! Again, the characters weren't relatable but I liked them a lot! I love the Cole/Isabel couple or whatever they are. In this book we discover that Grace was supposed to turn but couldn't because of her fever when she was little so now she's dying because of that so they turn her and I have yet to read the third book which is Forever to find out how it ends. I will definitely write a review about that too. 5/5 stars!

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld (Spoilers)

I only read this book of the series, and I didn't love it as much as I expected to. Everyone was talking about it, maybe it just wasn't for me. I usually like books with normal people, not hideous people, not gorgeous people, just normal people. And here the uglies were described as hideous and the pretties were described as fantastically beautiful. Basically in this Dystopian, everyone lives in Uglyville and they look normal (I think!) and when they turn sixteen they get a surgery which changes everything about them and makes them perfect apparently, and they get to move to New Pretty Town where they don't ever have to work or do anything they just need to have fun and look pretty. Tally, the main character is almost sixteen and her best friend, Paris already turned sixteen, got the surgery and moved to New Pretty Town and she's alone but she meets this girl Shay who is also almost sixteen. They have fun together but Shay doesn't want to become pretty so she runs away and they tell Tally that she has to find her friend or that she won't get her surgery. So Tally goes on this adventure and starts to see things a different way, she meets David and some other people, she likes David or something. I didn't love this book and I couldn't pay attention, I was distracted a lot during this book. Apparently Shay gets the surgery done and she develops a brain tumor or something like that and now Tally will become beautiful. I hope the next book is better. 2/5 stars.

Divergent series Book Talk (Spoilers)

I have to say I absolutely loved this book, it actually inspired me; and Tris quickly became one of my favorite characters ever. I didn't know which one of the factions Tris was going to choose and I was really really hoping she doesn't choose Abnegation because if she did I knew the story won't be too interesting. When she chose Dauntless I have to tell you I had to put the book down and just be happy for a while. This girl is my hero, lately every time something bad happened or I doubted myself I thought "Suck it up and be more like Tris!" I know it seems weird but this girl rocks! The fact that she is Divergent only makes her more relatable because everyone has more than one quality they focus on. I liked the idea of the fear landscapes and it really made me wonder what mine would be like. I don't have a lot to say about this book, it was fast-paced, there was a lot of action and it was my favorite book of the series. I hated the fact that her parents died though, I felt like Veronica Roth was trying a little bit too hard to make this book good, no offence to her, just my opinion, but apart from that it was an amazing book, one of my favorites this year. I loved Tris and Four and them together, amazing! I'd love to be a Dauntless too! 5/5 stars.
Insurgent was... not fantastic, I have to say this. I didn't understand it like I understood Divergent and it made me frustrated. In this book, we find out Four's mother, Evelyn is actually alive and I didn't know how I felt about that until I read the third book. A lot of serums in this book, a little bit too many for me. I just felt like this book was a filler between Divergent and Allegiant and nothing more which I wasn't very happy about. 3/5 stars.

Allegiant was an okay book until the ending, which was phenomenal! A lot of people hated this book because Tris dies at the end. Well, I kind of liked that because it gave me a very strong sense of closure and I love it when books do that! I didn't like it because it was said from both Tris' and Four's P.O.V. (I don't really like the name Tobias, so I'm going to call him Four, sorry if that bothers anyone). I liked Tris' chapters, as usual but I hated Four's chapters. I felt like they were longer and so much more boring than Tris' and while I was reading them I was just like "So, when can I hear Tris' perspective?" And don't get me wrong, I love Four, he's and amazing guy and he is definitely in my top 5 book boyfriends, but I hated hated hated his side of the story so much! Here, we find out that Divergent people are actually normal people, and the other people have damaged genes which is interesting, I guess. I feel like nothing huge really happened until the last part of the book, when Caleb betrays his sister (which I kept hoping wasn't real, but it was) and then when Tris died which I also could not believe. I cried while reading this book, and here at the end I appreciated Four's chapters because I understood we needed them. But until the very last word of this book, I kept hoping Tris isn't really dead, or that they could find a way to resurrect her somehow because I loved her so much. But they didn't! They had serums for truth, death, fear landscapes etc. but none for resurrection, obviously! I honestly think I would have been more okay with Four dying than with Tris dying because she was so smart and strong and we had so much character development from her and she was so good and so selfless and so brave, I loved her so much! This book broke my freaking heart :(. 4/5 stars.
